Paula’s Book

Miracles in the midst of War is a gripping, inspiring, true story of God at work in Russia and war-torn Chechnya in the 1990s.

Paula O’Keefe, a petite, slender, British girl, fresh out of university, sets off alone, into the unknown, to obey the call of God. Unwittingly she steps into a major revival sweeping the former Soviet Union. After seventy long years of oppression, communism has finally fallen and doors to preaching the gospel have swung wide open. Thousands are turning to Christ.

Then God leads Paula to a region devastated by war. You will discover that right in the midst of great pain and suffering, Jesus is working miracle after miracle, time and again rescuing Paula and friends from danger, providing for orphans, widows and refugees, and healing those broken in body, mind and spirit. Along the way God restores Paula herself from childhood abuse and trauma.

This compelling story of an ordinary young woman serving a miracle-working God
will inspire you to believe God for the impossible in your own life. You will find that no situation is beyond His help – that He can turn everything around for you too.

You will be encouraged that God can use anyone with a willing heart to change the world. And as you take steps to reach out to others in their desperation, letting Jesus’ love flow through you, your life and theirs will never be the same.

July 2021 Cafe Outreach

We had another lovely cafe outreach with Pauline sharing testimony from her 60 year walk with the Lord 🙂

Here we are singing “Because He lives I can face tomorrow, because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know, I know He holds the future and life is worth the living just because He lives.” As you listen, may you know the peace of the Lord driving out fear and giving you hope for the future 🙂

12 Hour Worship – 5th July 2021

We had an amazing day yesterday worshipping and praying together with New Hope church. It was so lovely to worship and pray face to face and fellowship over breakfast and dinner. We also had people joining us on zoom throughout the day from Tenerife, Harrogate, USA and Russia 🙂

More Recent Testimonies

Jesus is doing miracles today 🙂 Our friend Divina had fallen 15 days earlier, fractured her fibula and twisted her ankle. The doctor had said that it would take about 6 weeks for her to get better. This was only a month before her wedding.

When we went to visit her and saw her leg in a cast and that she couldn’t walk, we laid hands on her foot and prayed for healing. The next day she went to the doctor who was very surprised that she’d healed so quickly and took off the cast. She was so excited and was able to walk normally at her wedding 🙂

On our trip to the USA in February 2020 a lovely lady suffering from depression and waiting for foot reconstruction surgery wept as she gave her life back to the Lord, he healed her and filled her with fresh hope and joy. As we prayed, her foot seemed to change shape, the pain decreased significantly and she was able to walk again without a limp 🙂 It was so precious to see the transformation in her life and hear how well she is doing even a year later.

After speaking in a church in Washington DC, a lady came up saying she wanted us to pray for her friend who was too sick to come to the meeting. She phoned her friend and we prayed over the phone for this dear lady who’d been in hospital for months with stomach issues. She received her healing as we prayed and is still doing well a year later, praise the Lord 🙂

Testimonies – December 2018

Here are some testimonies from our recent travels.

During prayer one lady felt a burden of unforgiveness leave her and as if her mind had been cleansed.

As we shared testimonies and prayed for people in a Mercy House for homeless people, some were moved to tears as they experienced God’s touch.

A fellow passenger in the seat next to us always vomited on plane journeys. We prayed with him and he was grateful when we landed without feeling sick at all. He kindly helped us carry our bags across London.

A friendly workman in a ‘witches’ cafe near the conference venue in London, had pain all over his body. He said it was such a relief when the pain left after we’d prayed for him. He came and sat with us and chatted about spiritual things for about an hour.

A homeless man, in the picture above, was so touched when we shared Jesus’ love with him. It was his birthday and we took him out for a hot chocolate. He was in tears as we shared and prayed with him.

A sweet cleaning lady could feel heat and the pain lessening in her back as we prayed for her.

Two alcoholic neighbours who we’ve been praying for, sharing with and helping since 2004 finally decided they were finished with their old lives and want to follow Jesus. Hallelujah!

God is good and is moving all over the world :):)

December 2018 Update

We’ve finished our Sabbatical and are feeling much better.

We’ve been on the road since late October. We’re sharing and praying with people on the streets, doing 24/7 prayer and prayer ministry, helping with the Mercy House and visiting friends, family and churches. We’ve celebrated Mum’s birthday and Hanukkah.

We return to Spain in the spring and plan to rent a flat and relaunch the ministry again there.

Easter Mission Week – April 2019

Mum has been very unwell so we are taking a Sabbatical in Wales at the moment. The Lord is healing us both and restoring us as we spend time with Him, enjoy His creation and the glorious weather (unusual for Wales) and catch up with friends. thumbnail

A Divine Connection

March 13th was a special day for a man named Victor. A few days ago we met Victor in the mountains. Victor had pain in his shoulder, so we decided to pray for him and Jesus healed him on the spot! Not long after that, Victor invited a few of us to his home to eat and sleep there for the night.

The next day he decided to follow Jesus and get baptized in the ocean! After he was baptized he started speaking parables from the Bible. God is doing powerful things in Gran Canaria, and we are excited about what He’s got planned next!
