Recent Testimonies – December 2018

Here are some testimonies from our recent travels.

During prayer one lady felt a burden of unforgiveness leave her and as if her mind had been cleansed.

As we shared testimonies and prayed for people in a Mercy House for homeless people, some were moved to tears as they experienced God’s touch.

A fellow passenger in the seat next to us always vomited on plane journeys. We prayed with him and he was grateful when we landed without feeling sick at all. He kindly helped us carry our bags across London.

A friendly workman in a ‘witches’ cafe near the conference venue in London, had pain all over his body. He said it was such a relief when the pain left after we’d prayed for him. He came and sat with us and chatted about spiritual things for about an hour.

A homeless man, in the picture above, was so touched when we shared Jesus’ love with him. It was his birthday and we took him out for a hot chocolate. He was in tears as we shared and prayed with him.

A sweet cleaning lady could feel heat and the pain lessening in her back as we prayed for her.

Two alcoholic neighbours who we’ve been praying for, sharing with and helping since 2004 finally decided they were finished with their old lives and want to follow Jesus. Hallelujah!

God is good and is moving all over the world :):)

December 2018 Update

We’ve finished our Sabbatical and are feeling much better.

We’ve been on the road since late October. We’re sharing and praying with people on the streets, doing 24/7 prayer and prayer ministry, helping with the Mercy House and visiting friends, family and churches. We’ve celebrated Mum’s birthday and Hanukkah.

We return to Gran Canaria in spring and plan to rent a flat in Las Palmas and relaunch the ministry again there.

Sabbatical

Mum has been very unwell so we are taking a Sabbatical in Wales at the moment. The Lord is healing us both and restoring us as we spend time with Him, enjoy His creation and the glorious weather (unusual for Wales) and catch up with friends. thumbnail

Behold I am doing a new thing!

The Lord is doing a new thing here on the island. We have had an exciting few weeks celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles and a Prayer Week, having a couple of Mission Weeks with 4 baptisms, doing creativity and excursions with some of the poorer families living on an estate down the road and a number of answers to prayer: Joanna’s health is much better – she is now on a diet and exercise regime, an elderly lady’s neck and migraine were healed as we prayed for her in the street, one of our neighbours has stopped taking drugs after prayer, his disabled mother who has been waiting for nearly 2 years for an operation and pension is well on the way to getting both. We’ve also celebrated a number of birthdays together. The work discipling new believers continues, and our Sunday BBQs/simple church meetings continue to be a blessing to all who come.

We would like to invite anyone who wants to come and join us in reaching out to the poor and lost on the island, we need people to come and help with practical jobs, going out onto the streets with us, children’s workers, worship leaders and intercessors.
